About Export DOCXObsidian plugin · free · coming soon
The full Compositor toolkit inside your vault: export any note to a native Word document or a print-ready PDF, set with the typography template you pick — one command, no copy-paste.
What it does
Compositor for Obsidian runs your note through the same typesetting engine as this site — wikilinks, callouts and embeds intact — and hands back Word or PDF, composed to the template you chose.
A native .docx built on Word’s own heading styles, or a print-ready PDF set with Typst — the same note, either destination, one command each.
Pick the look the document needs. The same template set as the site — the clean standard today, report, book and editorial looks as they land.
Fenced code with a language comes out syntax-highlighted — Dracula or GitHub — and the colors match between the Word file and the PDF.
Wikilinks, callouts, ==highlights== and ![[image]] embeds survive the export; %%comments%% and ^block-ids are stripped before anything renders.
title and author become document metadata; a note’s template or code_theme frontmatter overrides the plugin defaults, per document.
The same cleanup as everything Compositor sets — curly quotes, real dashes, locale-aware numbers — and never inside your code.
